The Ballad of Tammet

I got an email this morning from someone in a band who have recorded a song about me. The band's name is The Madrigals and the song title is 'The Ballad of Tammet' - you can have a listen to it at: www.myspace.com/themadrigals

Very interesting sound and of course I am flattered!

Hi Daniel

Have you heard the song pi by Kate Bush (on her latest album called Aerial)?
Whenever I hear it, I think of your documentary. Maybe she wrote it with you on her mind? Don't know for sure of course, but you should check it out. I think you will like it. It is an amazing album.

Take care and keep posting your interesting thoughts :o)

This is what the song means to me. What a surprise! It brings happy thoughts to my head and makes me feel much younger than I do. And 'tis actually a ballad too in strict adherence to form!

Speaking of MySpace... Did you know that "You" have 13 profiles?

Call it wild curiosity, but I plugged in your name on MySpace "Search" and got 13 results, each regurgitating the same stock information and photos. Most had grievous spelling errors and other dead giveaways.

Thought you ought to know....
